Care instructions for the SouSou Loop Band

You can use your SouSou Loop Band for many years if you care for it properly and treat it correctly!

Here are detailed care and cleaning instructions for the SouSou Loop Band, which consists of cotton & natural rubber.

Regular Care

  1. After each use, let the band air dry so that moisture can evaporate. The included nylon bag is best suited for this purpose, as it is breathable and allows moisture to escape well. However, if the band is very damp from sweat, let it dry hanging unfolded.
  2. Avoid direct contact with oils, creams, or harsh cleaning agents, as these can damage the material.
  3. Do not use on rough surfaces to avoid abrasion or fiber damage.

Cleaning Tips for the SouSou Loop Band

If your band has become really dirty or smells very unpleasant, you can clean it as follows:

Hand wash (recommended)

🔹 Step 1: Fill a bowl or the sink with lukewarm water.
🔹 Step 2: Add a mild detergent or a mild soap solution.
🔹 Step 3: Gently move the band through the water with your hands and gently rub over dirty areas if necessary.
🔹 Step 4: Rinse thoroughly with clear water to remove all detergent residues.
🔹 Step 5: Do not wring, but lightly squeeze to remove excess water.

Machine wash (possible, but with caution!)

✔ Can be washed at a maximum of 30 °C on a gentle cycle.
Use a laundry bag to protect the fibers.
✔ Select a low spin speed (max. 800 rpm).
Do not use fabric softener or bleach – they can damage the natural rubber.

Drying & Storage

Allow to air dry flat – not in direct sunlight or on a heater.
Do not tumble dry, as heat can make the natural rubber brittle.
✔ After drying, loosely roll up or store flat to maintain elasticity.
✔ Store in a cool, dry place, not in a sealed plastic bag, to prevent mold growth.

With these tips, your SouSou Loop Band will remain hygienic and in top condition for a long time!
